Jonathan Brannan is calling all his bearded peeps!
I’m SO pumped. It’s time again to put those face follicles to good use and help others! The Wahl Grooming Mobile Barber Shop is headed back to Ocean Springs once more, and you have a chance to get a free trim and raise thousands of dollars for an adoption non-profit, the Seventeen Twenty Foundation.
I am absolutely blessed to continue a relationship with Wahl grooming after being named Wahl Man of the Year in 2020.
Since then, my family used the prize money to fund the rest of our adoption process, and Wahl has been an incredible partner in helping provide chances for other families to adopt.
Last year, Wahl brought the mobile barber shop to Ocean Springs for the Red, White and Blueberry Festival downtown. They provided free beard trimming and $100 to the Seventeen Twenty Foundation for every beard trimmed. Welp… they loved it so much they’re doing it all again!
This year is a special anniversary for the Wahl Man of the Year contest. To honor 20 years of this amazing contest, Wahl has made this year’s contest all about doing good for others. As part of this effort, the company is going on tour to several of the “benevolent beards” that have been awarded the title over the past two decades and helping their charities of choice.
So, the Brannan family story was a perfect fit for this promotion! Blessings all around! Blessings… and beards… that is.
Now, benevolent bearded brethren, I need you to mark your calendars for June 4th in downtown Ocean Springs for the Red, White and Blueberry Festival.
Come get a free beard trim, and Wahl will donate $100 for every trim to the Seventeen Twenty Foundation.
Seventeen Twenty is a nonprofit that awards grants to families in their adoption journeys. Y’all adoption is EXPENSIVE. Let me just put it this way. My family had already raised more than half of the money necessary to make our adoption happen. The Wahl contest blessed us with a $20,000 check. We needed every cent of that for the rest of our adoption funds.
We were blessed. We want to make sure others are, too.
The Seventeen Twenty Foundation is meant to bridge the financial gap that keeps so many families from being the loving parents they were meant to be.
Let’s show Wahl again how this awesome Coastal Mississippi community is. Y’all are really more like family at this point, so help your fam out and come see us on Saturday, June 4th!
Can’t wait to see y’all there! And make sure to BYOB (Bring Your Own Beards)!
