You can cancel parades, but one thing is for sure: you can’t cancel King Cake!

Navigating carnival season can be challenging when you’re also looking to stick to New Year’s resolutions, nutrient-dense eating, and allergy-friendly options. Enter: the Eat Fit King Cake.

What is the Eat Fit King Cake?

Centered on an all-natural ingredient label, the Eat Fit King Cake is made with almond
and coconut flours. It’s sweetened with locally-made Swerve — a natural, plant-based sweetener — with no artificial sweeteners or colors.

The Eat Fit King Cake is…

  • gluten-free
  • grain-free
  • low-carb
  • sugar-free
  • dairy-free
  • all natural… without sacrificing flavor!

This 11oz cake is baked in a small bundt style and has the look and feel of poundcake
with the nostalgic colors and flavors of King Cake.

The Eat Fit King Cake’s original recipe was designed by Ben McLauchlin of Swerve
Sweetener. In his work with Ochsner Eat Fit founder, Molly Kimball, RD, CSSD, the two
collaborated on ways to scale up the original recipe and sell in retail stores in Louisiana. Three years later, the Eat Fit King Cake is available in retailers from Texas to Florida!

Why Choose the Eat Fit King Cake?

Parents may choose the Eat Fit King Cake for a variety of reasons. Because it is baked
in a certified-gluten free facility, the cake provides confidence for gluten-free eaters
especially those with Celiac. As a dairy-free option cake, the King Cake delivers for
those looking to avoid milk products.

There’s also a health & lifestyle component to choosing the Eat Fit King Cake, which
has balanced macronutrients, providing protein and plant-based fats. You can enjoy the sweetness of dessert with energy levels that stay high! Have it as an after-dinner treat, with your midday coffee, or… maybe even a last-minute breakfast as you run out the door.
