Children in costumesWondering what your child will wear this year for Halloween? Our friends at Lynn Meadows Discovery Center suggest looking to their favorite book characters for inspiration!

Many are available online, but most can also make for a fun and easy DIY project, which can be adapted for any age.

Hopefully these recommendations will inspire you. It’s a wonderful way for your child to engage with their favorite nighttime stories they love.

It’s easy to be inspired by one of our favorite groovy felines, Pete the Cat: Trick or Pete. For an easy DIY, all you will need is a yellow shirt/sweater, really big buttons (or make your own out of construction paper) and groovy shoes.

Come visit Pete the Cat at the museum the week of February 19, 2022.
