I love a nice, clean and fresh smelling home. One of my favorite things to do while cleaning is use crock-pot aroma blends to fill the house with delicious scents. There’s nothing like setting the atmosphere of your home with scents created for coziness and comfort! Most of these scent combinations can be created with what is already in your kitchen! All you need is a crock-pot (I use a small one), water and your favorite combination ingredients. Set your crock-pot to simmer over low heat, and keep those aromas flowing through your home all day long. Below are my favorite combination blends for each season.

1 Lime (sliced)
Season’s Blend
1 Lemon (sliced)
Fresh Ginger Root (chopped)

Spring Cleaning
Juice from 1/2 Lemon

Note: You can try these combinations on a stove top as well over low heat. With having small kids in the house who are in the stages of extreme curiosity, using a crock-pot is a safer, out of arms reach option, which allows me peace of mind.
