We are thankful to partner with South Mississippi Smiles for this post. We strive to provide helpful information for families on the Gulf Coast.
From a very young age, my parents wanted to instill the importance of self care.
When I was growing up, I did not mind going to the dentist. In fact, I LOVED it! What’s not to love about missing school, seeing the awesome fish tank, and getting a cool prize to take home? #winning
We went faithfully for our yearly well checks, and every 6 months we went to the dentist to have our teeth cleaned. I was so thankful for the precedent they set, so when I became a parent myself, I followed suit.
I truly believe that those early medical and oral health visits are vital to building a good foundation for a lifetime of physical, mental, and dental health.
So in my search for a pediatric dentist, it was very important to me that my children have a good experience. I did not want them to fear or dread going to dental visits.
FINDING THE PERFECT PEDIATRIC DENTIST FOR YOUR KIDS
Being new to the Gulf Coast last year, we went through the process of finding all new health care providers. I read through several Google reviews and asked mom friends for recommendations. Finally, we landed at South Mississippi Smiles in Pascagoula, and we could not be happier!
BOOKING APPOINTMENTS IS HASSLE-FREE
The process of scheduling an appointment was hassle-free. You can even book your appointment online! And they were able to get us in quickly.
KIND STAFF
The staff was very kind, knowledgeable, and thorough. They strive to make the parents and child feel comfortable.
PERKS FOR THE KIDS
While getting their teeth cleaned, my kids watched TV. After, they were given a really cool balloon to take home!
POSITIVE EXPERIENCE FOR PARENTS AND KIDS
When we walked from the lobby to the treatment rooms, we noticed the entire office is tailored to make the experience fun and comfortable for kids. I was able to go back with them for their cleaning, which helped us all to feel at ease. Parental involvement was welcomed and even encouraged, which I truly appreciated.
