5 Thanksgiving Treats for Parties!

  1. Thanksgiving Themed Party Mix

    Chances are you know it and you love party mix and if you are a busy mom with Thanksgiving parties coming up, you might need a quick, easy treat idea!

    YOU NEED:
    Chex Mix cereal of choice

    Bugels chips

    Mini pumpkins or candy corn

    Colored m+m’s

    White chocolate chips

    Dried Cranberries

    Toss it altogether and enjoy OR pack it up in cups or baggies for a school party!

2. Turkey “Feather” Treat bags

These are simple, easy, and everyone will love them!

YOU NEED:
Clear disposable gloves
Popped Popcorn
Regular or Peanut M&M’s
Reese's Pieces (or your favorite mix of candies in fall colors!)
Googly eyes

Glue stick
Orange construction paper
Scissors
Optional: Clear tape, Clear rubber bands

Fill each “finger” of the glove with a colored candy and fill the “hand” of the glove with popcorn or other snacks! You could also use pretzels or cereal.

Cut out the beak from the construction paper and tape or glue stick it on along with the googly eyes!

3. Turkey Fruit Tray

If you are like me and you really want something with MINIMAL decorating or put together, then this is for you!! All you need is your favorite fruits, half an apple, and a paper cut out of a turkey! (and a toothpick!)

Arrange the fruit as the turkey feathers, place the apple down as the “body” and stick your turkey cut out right to the apple with a toothpick!

It’s cute, healthy, and super simple!

4. Turkey Veggie Tray

We love a good fruit tray, but we ALSO love an easy veggie tray! For this one, all you need are veggies of choice arranged as the “Feathers” of the turkey, a bowl of your favorite dip as the “body”, a bell pepper for your turkey “face” and a set of googly eyes!

Another simple, healthy idea!

5. Mini pumpkin pies

Are you in charge of the pie this year? Here’s a super simple trick! Grab full sized pumpkin pies, take a biscuit cutter or circle cookie cutter and punch out circles! Serve as “mini pies” and top with whipped topping!

*BONUS TIP: Take the leftover cut outs, blend them together and form into balls- cover with white chocolate and now you have pumpkin pie truffles!
