This class will provide a high level overview of the labor and delivery experience and will cover what new moms and parents need to know before, during, and after delivery.

Topics include:

  • Benefits of childbirth education

  • Understanding the process of labor

  • Role of the labor support person

  • Discomforts & changes of pregnancy

  • Warning signs that need attention

  • Identifying signs of labor

  • Pain management

  • Various types of delivery

CASA Touch a Truck: Hancock County

Touch a Truck is a FREE event that gives local children a chance to explore larger than life vehicles and the people who do these important jobs in our community. Kids are encouraged to hop on the equipment and to learn while exploring in a safe setting. CASA of South Mississippi began this event as a give back to the community that has been so supportive of our work with abused and neglected children. The Princess PJ Party is priced per child. 27.95 plus tax. Space is limited. This is not a drop off event. There is room for parents to relax at our tables. Kids will enjoy games, crafts, pizza, cupcakes, music and dancing with the princesses in their PJ’s! Everyone is welcome to wear their PJ’s.
