CHRISTMAS TREE FARMS

There’s nothing quite like heading out with your family in search of the perfect Christmas tree! If you’re wanting to cut down your own Christmas tree this year, check out these Gulf Coast family-owned Christmas tree farms!

Be sure to call ahead to confirm hours and check on availability. Many of the tree farms sell out, and this year’s weather has limited the number of available trees, so plan to get your tree early.

  • Holly Berry Hills Christmas Tree Farm, Saucier

    • Holly Berry Hills Christmas Tree Farm in Saucier is a great option to find and cut down your favorite Christmas tree. They also sell wreaths, tree stands, and garland. 

    • Limited stock for 2023 - 500 trees available for sale!

    • Pre-tag Saturdays, November 11 & 18 from 9 am-4 pm. Closed Thanksgiving Day. Open 9 am-4 pm November 24-25 for pick up and sales. 

  • Richburg Christmas Tree Farm, Moss Point

    • Richburg Christmas Tree Farm in Hurley specializes in Carolina Sapphire, Virginia Pine, and Leyland Cypress trees. They will flock your tree too! 

  • Local Garden Centers

    • Courtney Farms in Ocean Springs is carrying a great variety of trees. In addition to trees, they are selling gorgeous Evergreen for all your wreath and garland needs. Check their Facebook page for updates on when trees will arrive. 

    • Robert Anderson Christmas Trees   can be found off the Cedar Lake exit (look for the big white tent behind Hancock Bank). Trees come in November 17. They will be selling North Carolina Frasier Firs!

CHRISTMAS LIGHTS ON THE GULF COAST

It’s time to pile everyone in the minivan and drive around to look at all the beautiful light displays the Gulf Coast has to offer! Make this a new family tradition!

  • Estates of Penny Lane Light Show, Long Beach

    • While driving down the magical street of Copper Court in Long Beach, you can turn your radio to 89.3 FM and enjoy a light show synchronized to Christmas music.

  • Gulfport Harbor Lights

    • Beginning in 2015, a vision of a coastal holiday winter festival came about from The City of Gulfport’s Department of Leisure Service along with Council President, Rusty Walker. Island View Casino & Resort’s owners loved the idea and provided sponsorship to make this vision a reality.  The show began as just light displays! Over the years, the show has expanded into Mississippi’s Largest Christmas Light Show with over 1.5 million lights throughout 40 acres in Jones Park. Today, visitors can ride carnival rides, hop on a train at the Train Station, or enjoy the “Dancing Trees” Show. Visitors can even stroll through Santa’s Village to see working elves, Santa’s Headquarters, and visit with Santa Claus! Each year the show grows and it brings new surprises!

  • Hattula Family Light Show, Biloxi

    • The Hattula Family Light Show takes place at 6917 Southwind Drive in Biloxi and features over 61,000 Christmas lights synced to holiday music on 101.7 FM starting Thanksgiving night at 5:30 pm.

  • Wiener Wonderland, Biloxi

    • Wiener Wonderland lights up the corner of Karli Lane and Shorecrest Road in Woolmarket with over 60 dachshunds. Wiener Wonderland supports Tired Dog Rescue and their mission.

  • Teddy Bear Tea at The Roosevelet NOLA

    • It's time to plan your return to The Roosevelt to celebrate the Holidays with our beloved Teddy Bear Tea!For decades, children of all ages have experienced the magic of the yuletide season in our beautifully assembled North Pole. This year, the time-honored celebration will once more feature singing, dancing, story-telling, and appearances from Santa and Mrs. Claus! Indulge in decadent pastries and hot chocolate or sip on champagne as you pass on this tradition from one generation to the next!

  • 2nd Annual GHS Drumline Breakfast with Santa

  • Lights of the Wild at Hattiesburg Zoo

      There is no better way to ring in the holiday season than with the splendor of Lights of the Wild at the Hattiesburg Zoo featuring dazzling displays of lanterns highlighting life-sized animals, larger than life plants and Holiday décor. Lights of the Wild will take place over nights, beginning December 1st running through December 23rd.

    • New, never-before-seen lanterns will be located throughout the Zoo and will complement the Zoo’s collection of beautiful and exotic lanterns that showcase diverse wildlife and flora found around the world. Guests will also enjoy Story Time with Mrs. Claus in the Asbury Discovery Center, photos with Santa in the Africa Pavilion, animal encounters throughout the Zoo and unlimited rides on the Northern Lights Express Train throughout the evening. Numerous holiday treat stations will be located throughout the Zoo and include holiday favorites, dinner fare and seasonal beverages.

  • Christmas on the Rails

    • 5 PM

    • An evening of joy, enchantment, & cherished traditions.

    • The trolley, wagon, and hay rides will stop at Main and Goodyear and at Crosby Commons so that you can explore all of the areas with Christmas cheer with less walking! (The rides will not be on Canal St. this year.)

    • This fun, Christmas Arts & Crafts Festival, will feature over 40 vendors selling: gifts, handmade items, Christmas decor & ornaments, home décor, boutique items, delicious food, and so much more! This is FREE to the public and will take place outside of Mississippi Mercantile Co. on Saturday, December 2nd, 2023, from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.

  • Kids Street Christmas, Gulfport

    • Join Lynn Meadows for the tenth annual holiday event being held at Kids Street and the grounds of LMDC! Wear your favorite Christmas attire and enjoy all of the holiday activities on the 7.5 acres. Visit with Santa & Mrs. Claus, play in the snow, make ornaments, enjoy milk and cookies provided by Whataburger, caroling by WINGS Performing Arts and more!

  • Waveland Christmas Parade and Family Event

    • 2 pm

    • Applications for the parade are now being accepted and open to Classic Cars, Jeeps, Golf Carts, Marching or Walking Groups, Horse Riders/Horse Drawn Carriages and/or Wagons, and Walkers with their Dogs!  

    • The parade will begin at 4PM and travel through the streets of Waveland to Town Green on Coleman Avenue, where a wide variety of family activities will take place, including the City's Christmas Tree lighting by Santa and Mrs. Claus!  Activities at Town Green will begin at 2 PM.  



  • Sea Santa Sail-a-Bration Boat Parade, Long Beach

    • Santa Claus is coming to town! Walk the streets of downtown Gulfport and shop the many great store fronts as well as arts and crafts vendors. Make sure to have dinner at one of the amazing restaurants located in the Main Street district before enjoying the downtown Gulfport Christmas parade kicking off at 6pm.

    • First Baptist Church Biloxi's Worship Ministry is beyond excited to be bringing back the iconic Singing Christmas Tree to the Gulf Coast this Christmas season.

      We hope you can join us at this joyous occasion as we will be offering three showings on December 8th at 7:00 p.m., December 9th at 6:00 p.m. and December 10th at 6:00 p.m.

  • Moss Point: Christmas by the River Boat Parade

    • Long Beach Concert Choir would like to invite you to our annual Christmas on the Avenue Festival. There will be handmade items of all kinds, food vendors, music and so much more! Come join us! Enjoy shopping and being part of all the Christmas festivities at our beautiful town green in the heart of Long Beach, MS!

  • Holly Jolly Community Block Party at Crosspoint Church, Gulfport

    • 3-6 pm

    • Crosspoint Church will host its 3rd Annual Holly Jolly Block Party. The free event is open to the community and will feature the return of the live nativity experience. Travel by hayride through stations and songs celebrating the story of Christ's birth and the reason for the season. Then have plenty of more fun including the festive Candy Land Lane - where Crosspointers put a Christmas holiday twist to decorating trunks of cars and hand out candy, as well as carnival-style games, the jump house and slide, hot dogs with chili, cakes/cookies, a s'mores station and more.

    • Cue the twinkling lights & seasonal music and join this annual Gingerbread House Workshop! Bring the family and decorate a gingerbread house together without all the mess. Lynn Meadows provides the gingerbread house pieces, frosting and all of the edible decorations. Hot cocoa, cookies, holiday music & a special appearance by Santa will make this a memorable family experience.
