3 Must-Try Game Day Slider Recipes
It’s OFFICIALLY football season and all things Crockpot…right?! So we thought we would share 3 of our favorite super simple slider recipes! These are great for entertaining, tailgating, or even just a simple family lunch or dinner!
THE BEST CHICKEN SLIDERS
2 lbs chicken breasts
1 pkt ranch dressing mix
1 8 oz block cream cheese
1/2-3/4 cup cooked crumbled bacon depending on how much you like bacon
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
4 green onions sliced
Buns
In the crockpot, add chicken + sprinkle with ranch. Place cream cheese on top. Cook on low for 6-8 hours.
When finished, add cheese, cooked bacon and green onions.
Serve on slider style buns and ENJOY!
SIMPLE CHEESBURGER SLIDERS
1-2 lbs ground beef
1/2 yellow onion, chopped
1 tbsp worcestershire sauce
salt + pepper
1/4 cup mayo
2tbsp ketchup
1 tbsp mustard
chopped pickles
shredded cheese of choice
dinner rolls
2 tbsp melted butter
everything bagel seasoning or sesame seeds (optional)
Preheat oven to 375.
In a skillet, brown beef with onion, worcestershire sauce, and salt and pepper.
In a separate bowl, mix together mayo, kethcup, and mustard. Add chopped pickles.
Place ground beef mixture on top of bottom half of rolls and top with mayo mixture and shredded cheese.
Butter the tops of the rolls and sprinkle with seeds or seasoning.
Place the top on rolls and bake at 375 for 10-15 minutes until cheese is melted.
MELTY MEATBALL MINI SUBS
1 bag of frozen meatballs of choice
1 jar of pasta sauce of choice
1 pack of provolone cheese slices
1 pack of shredded mozzarella
1-2 loaves of french bread
In a crockpot, place meatballs and pasta sauce.
Cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
Set oven to broil.
Slice french bread loaves almost all the way in half and fold open and place on sheet pan. Place saucy meatballs on bottom of bread and top with lots of cheese.
Place open faced in oven until cheese is bubbly.
Fold top of bread over meatballs and slice into mini sandwiches.
