Erin Rosetti
It's Mom Feature Friday and we are happy to introduce you all to an incredible local mama, Erin Rosetti!
Erin grew up in St. Martin, studied Mass Communication at LSU, and moved to Chicago immediately after graduation, but there’s something about the salt air that kept calling her back home. She has known her husband Nick since middle school and they took a chance on seriously dating in college.
"I knew from the first “real” conversation I had with him at 16 years old that he was someone I would never get tired of learning more about. We have a hilarious, kind-hearted, vibrant, and compassionate son, Nolan, who will be 3 in March. We’re in the thick of toddlerhood, where we never know what the next minute will hold!
For work, I manage internal and external communicationse for Memorial Health System
and every day is different from the next, which is something that continues to excite me about the public relations industry. A typical day includes developing digital content strategies, managing media relations, representing the organization throughout the community, fostering partnerships, serving on various boards, and more."
When we asked Erin for a piece of advice to share with all of our moms, she said:
"It’s okay to not be okay. I’m an admitted overachiever, and if I set a goal, I am determined to succeed. I thought motherhood would be the same if I studied what to expect enough, read the books, took the classes, all the things. But it’s not. It’s messy, unpredictable, and unbelievably humbling. Reach out to someone you trust if you’re struggling or not feeling like yourself."
Erin, thank you for the chance to feature you here on The Gulf Coast Mom!
