Kristin Lee

We are so excited to introduce you to our friend - Kristin Lee! You may recognize Kristin from The Scout Guide Mississippi Gulf Coast as well as from Coast Aesthetics! Learn more about Kristin here:

β€œ I was born, raised, and currently reside in Ocean Springs, MS. Many of my childhood memories revolved around the water. From visiting the barrier islands to fishing and eating good seafood - these are all things our family still enjoys.

My husband Greg and I got married in 2007 and we have two wonderful teenage children, Anna Reese and Jack (and two chickens).

In between working, watching the kids high school tennis matches, supporting our local community, & church activities, we enjoy taking family trips where we have each other's full attention. We cherish this special time together and the fun memories made.

I obtained a bachelor's degree in nursing from The University of Southern Mississippi in Hattiesburg. After graduating nursing school, I worked as an ER nurse at Forrest General Hospital before moving back to the Coast.

After working for 15 years as an Operating Room nurse at Gulfport Memorial, I felt the need to tap into my creative side and, at the same time, find a way to be more available for my children. So, I did the natural thing and I traded in one job for 3 more!! HA!

I wrote and published The Ocean Springs Book which is found in some of the shops downtown O.S., own/operate a teeth whitening business (The Smile Lab) where I work at Coast Aesthetics, and I am now the editor/owner of The Scout Guide Mississippi Gulf Coast. I love the variety each of these bring, but The Scout Guide has blessed me with the opportunity to meet and support so many exceptional business owners across the coast. In my opinion, it's the local businesses that make the MS Gulf Coast such a wonderful place to live, work, and play.”

When asked to share a piece of advice with all the mamas out there, this is what KRISTIN Had to say:

β€œWait as long as you possibly can to get screens in their little hands!! Childhood is so short & precious. They have the rest of their lives to be burdened by such a thing. My children are 15 and 17 years old and they thank me all the time for not getting them one. Call me crazy, but this is one of the best decisions I have made as their mother.”
