We are so excited to introduce you to Kristen Griffin! You may recognize her as co-owner of The Cocktail Carriage and Belle Fête. Not only is she an amazing business owner, she’s an incredible mama, too! Learn more about here here!
“Hi ya’ll! My name is Kristen Griffin.
I am a fairly new mother with an almost 2 year old little girl and a 3 year old little boy. I have been married to my husband, Steven Griffin, now for soon to be 5 years. My sister and I own The Cocktail Carriage & Co along with Bell Fête.I am the owner of Magnums Bridge-an end of life stage pet doula service as well. My husband and I have a very small ranch where we have a couple of alpacas, a llama, a mini pig, a guardian livestock dog, crazy looking chickens, an inside dog, two house cats, and the rooster of the house...our Maine Coon Cat.
I retired from in-clinic veterinary field last year after 14 years. There I served as Lead Veterinary Technician, Inventory Manager and Assistant Office Manager. I knew I still needed to be an advocate for animals so this is where Magnum's Bridge came about.Leaving a fast paced career was not easy, but I wanted to concentrate more on being a stay at home mom, wife and entrepreneur. I would not have been able to do any of this without my partner!
This new chapter in my life has been such a blessing. Learning how to navigate through marriage, motherhood with children close in age, being a business owner, stay at home mom, volunteering my time as Vice President of PTO at Holy Trinity Catholic School, and running a farm can be a bit challenging. Did I mention my husband works offshore in the Gulf two weeks out of the month? Lol
I try to utilize all my God given gifts along with practicing good stewardship. I stay heavily grounded in my Catholic faith. I strive to do one thing better than what I did the day prior. Everyday I embrace the support I have from my husband and the rest of my family. The love that surrounds me is definitely felt on a daily basis. This is something I am so proud of. “
When asked to share a piece of advice with all the mamas out there, this is what she said:
“Wake up and make your bed. Tell your children one positive affirmation everyday no matter their age. Say one thing you’re thankful for everyday. Give yourself grace. It’s ok to run out of time in your day and not complete your list. Leave it at to be continued. Smile, it’ll give you the good wrinkles!!”
