Meet Kristin Sharp Sandberg!! Kristin is a wife + mama to 21 month old, Ethan 🫶

“This stage is exhausting but SO much fun! He’s finding his voice and learning new words everyday. I love watching him explore, problem solve, and learn!”

Kristin and her husband both grew up in Long Beach. They both attended Mississippi State and then came home to the Coast.

“I am so thankful to live close to family and to live somewhere so beautiful with so many fun and engaging activities for kiddos.”

Kristin started her career as an Electrical Engineer with Chevron.

“I loved my time there, but God opened doors and gave me the opportunity to try teaching for Mississippi State’s Engineering on the Coast Program. I fell in love with teaching and decided to pursue it full time. I finished my PhD a week after Ethan’s first birthday and am now an assistant professor in electrical engineering. I’m so blessed to get to share my love of learning and problem solving with the next generation of engineers! I love Mississippi State and getting to work for them and stay on the coast is a dream come true! “

Kristin spends her free time with her family, fur babies, and church family. She and her husband love going on adventures and trying new things.

When we asked Kristin for a piece of advice to share with yall, she said, “Trust yourself. Every child is different and every mama is different. God made you their mama, and He will equip you for whatever may come. No one knows them better than you. Don’t let anyone make you question that you are absolutely the best mom for your kids!”
