It's ✨ FEATURE FRIDAY✨ and today we are shining the spotlight on Tami Foto! Tami is currently the Marketing Consultant for WXXV and loves to work hard showcasing the Gulf Coast! She also serves on the 2024 Board of Directors for Mississippi Gulf Coast Chamber. She loves living on the coast and being involved in the community.

"Being the daughter of a Master Sergeant in the United States Air Force, my family and I moved around quite a bit. After serving for 24 years my father retired and our family felt completely at home with the Gulf Coast and the friends we made, calling Mississippi our forever home ever since. I graduated from Biloxi High School in 1993.

I’ve been married for 21-years to my husband Jason and we have a 15 year old son, Layton. As parents, we place a great emphasis on family first as we support each other and we manage our busy days by keeping up with schoolwork and school activities. We find time to cook together, talk about each other’s day, and stay active together which is important to strengthen our family bond. After a long day, I try to find time to support both my physical and mental well-being by combining exercise with friends, spending time with special friends and loved ones, or just finding some quiet time to unwind and reflect."

When we asked Tami for a piece of advice to share with ya'll, she said, "As a mother, I think it is most important to be there for your child every step of the way. Creating this bond of love is so significant in your child’s physical and emotional growth: in their success, in who they become, in how safe they feel in this world, and in the relationships they will foster in their own lives. It is important to make time together meaningful. I have loved my family and friends’ children very closely and in watching them grow and leave the home I have witnessed first-hand how quickly time passes. I want every mother out there to feel this same sense of motherly love as it is the essence of all that we do."
