We are SO excited for you all to meet this week’s rockstar mama, Susan Nguyen. Having been born and raised here on the Mississippi Gulf Coast, Susan’s not only a devoted mom to a teenage girl, Sophia [whom is amazingly her little best friend]. She’s a permanent makeup artist, as the owner of Brow Haus by Susan AND Coastal Town Candles in Ocean Springs. Talk about killing it!

Susan says her days consist of Bright Eyed cappuccinos (😋), running both businesses, planning her upcoming wedding (eeeek!), family time and somehow fitting a workout in. She has a passion for people, and with that gift, allowing myself to grow,

Her dreams have led her to a career she never knew would bring her so much joy while allowing her to be a present mom.

“It’s so fun to say my job helps women feel more confident and beautiful in their own skin. “

She said that her career is her creative outlet. She loves getting to spend her days being with women from all ages, connecting with clients and helping them feel more confident in their own skin. “It’s truly a rewarding feeling to see their reactions when they see the final results. My goal is always to enhance their natural beauty and make them feel their best selves.” She said she is constantly learning and staying up to date with the latest trends and techniques in the permanent makeup industry. It’s important for her to always provide the best quality service. 

When asked what piece of advice she would give to all the mamas, she stated ⬇️

“Be kind to yourself. Motherhood is a journey with no instruction manual. We do things with good intention while we carry the hats for many jobs, and unsure when to stop adding more things to our plate; we may mistakes along the way, and that’s okay.”
