It's our favorite day of the week! This week's Mom Feature is spotlighting one of our contributors, Jen Le!

Jen was born and raised in Biloxi, MS. Her family’s profession is in the seafood industry, so her parents naturally found their way on the Gulf Coast of Mississippi back in the 80’s. While she left briefly for college in New York, she came back to be closer to her family.

"My daily life currently consists of being on the go and problem-solving day-to-day operations to make better decisions. This problem-solving ranges from professional to personal spectrum. I will think out loud for you and with you. Need a better way to organize information or spreadsheets? Let’s go over what is needed versus what is not. Can’t decide between cheese pizza or chicken nuggets? Let’s make it fun and pick a number. I love making life a more enjoyable experience and making my kids and people smile.

I am working on a few things to get to the next phase of my life, such as taking prerequisites to get into nursing school in the near future. For moms who want to switch careers, gather your resources and take the leap - There are no regrets except looking back. "

When we asked Jen for some advice to share with you all, she said,

"If the days are hard, appreciate them harder. Every day is hard and a never-ending checklist to be done. Remind yourself what to be thankful for it.The house may be a mess, but our loved ones are home. Laundry may be full, but our loved ones have worn it. Sometimes, there are days when you throw in a white towel and call it a day. That’s okay. You will reminisce, laugh and be thankful that you appreciate it at that moment. Your kids will tell you about those days that seem hard to you and they’ll end up being the most favorite and memorable.
